If you are already accepted in any of the Mobility Programs at UC, it is time to start arranging your arrival to Chile. In this section, we will give you all the information you have to bear in mind before arriving to Chile.

Orientation and Information Meeting

Before the beginning of the academic year, all international exchange students accepted at UC must go to orientation and welcome meeting. Check the details here.


Once you are accepted at UC, you will have to apply to a Student Resident VISA at the Chilean Consulate nearest to you. Gather all the required information with time.

The University has a student health care system that international exchange students can also access to. The system covers medical, dental and psychological care.

Emergency on Campus

If you have an emergency on campus (i.e. an accident or situation that puts your life at risk)
